I was going to reveal my secret of only playing machines that are serviced by red headed cocktail waitress's but I'm afraid some of you might actually try it, and heaven forbid you have a winning session while doing so.
I'm new to video poker but have been playing blackjack for years. It took a long time to find a blackjack forum that wasn't awash with superstitions and awful advice. I guess its not unique to BJ.

You have a lot to learn about vp and the people who are die hard regulars. We all continue to learn all of the time. Now whether or not we follow our own logic and knowledge is another story. Such is the nature of playing vp.

That said, no one should be bullied or insulted because they don't follow the leader.  They threw Galileo in jail for saying the Earth isn't the center of the universe.   Video poker experts aren't either.

Actually, Math is the building block of everything and thus can quite rightly be considered the Center of the Universe. Denying basic math is foolish. Preaching its denial is worse.

 i guess i would rather hear from a lunatic than a jerk.  never said these were 'trade secrets', clearly stated the information was from a middle level management person and thought it was innocent, interesting info for those of us, who are not at the advanced stage of casino knowledge/insight.  if all you math guys want to discuss is math, why don't you start a thread 'math only' and all of you can have a hell of boring time.

Maybe an "ignore" feature could be implemented here in the users control panel. That way if you have someone on your ignore list, you won't be able to see that users posts.
