I am sure edog was directing his question to me and I agree. these topics should be in another area. I did not start the thread, simply responded to other comments.

this is a VP forum and I know these subjects have nothing to do with VP. but, it does show how divided the country is and how politics has crept into nearly every facet of our lives.

I read a while back that a large number of americans, when asked, said that politics had cost them a relationship with a friend or family member.

just want to add, I could never be really mad/angry/upset at anyone who has the will rogers quote that edog has at the bottom of every post. the same for DB. if one cares for animals, they also care about people who are dependent upon others for help.

well put. for me, it is an indicator that one cares for those who cannot help themselves. that is different than those who will not help themselves.

Ted: he doesn't get out much, yes notes he has been home a week , we had a big welcome home party for him today. Talking to him and a few of his fellow soldiers they are very disillusioned with the current state of the military, care to guess who they blame 😎🇺🇸😎

No worries jeter, notes, billryan, and, edog. I have always tried to bring a bit of highbrow levity and intellectual humor to the forum and I would like to think that we all mutually respect each other on some level or another. Of course my achilles heel is DaBurglar and all bets are off for me when it comes to him. A leopard can't change their spots.
