What a waste it is, to lose ones mind.
No, losing one's mind is called Alzheimer's or dementia and compassionate people recognize it as something sad. Not something to be flippant about. BTW, forgetfulness and repetitive speech occur increasingly as one ages. Its called a senior moment.
Just quoting the unlamented Danny Quayle.

otabill, remember, the poster you are dealing with, likes to quote scripture. he must have superior insight and compassion that none of us can imagine.
No. I'm quite sure you can imagine it. What I honestly can't understand is why someone would sell their soul for the emptiness of nationalism.
your compassion has been on full display for all to see, ever since you arrived at this site.

Do not resist the wicked. If the wicked strikes your right cheek, turn and offer the other.
When one acts out of fear, he is already lost. Free your heart, and the rest will follow.

True, but even after fumigation, there are still a few around ( the resistent strain ). Hopefully they won’t multiply. Reading and posting here keeps what’s left of my insanity. Whoops! Was supposed to say sanity. I have never posted on or joined other vp sites. May be time to do so before the unavoidable cognitive decline gets me six months, maybe four with good behavoir.

the newly self-annointed pious poster is seen at a casino VP machine . . . . gets up to leave, and we ask, "where you going so early?" and his reply: "I have to get up early for church." Then, of course, he is off to feed the hungry at the Las Vegas courtyard project for the homeless first, before heading back to the safe confines of the studio in Henderson. Hmmm

This is the only site I am on as well. Don't intend to go elsewhere. I posted about leaving here years ago if it gets unbearable. People like you keep it worthwhile to stay. Unfortunately, we have lost several the last few years.
