Hmmm … What specifically does the 10-6 refer to in 10-6 Deuces Wild? If you had said 10-6 DDB, I would have thought you might have been referring to a slightly positive game (10 per coin for full house and 6 per coin for flush, if the per-coin straight flush was 50). But I'm not too sure what deuces pay schedule you could be meaning by using the name "10-6."
How do you count close calls to Royal Flush?

Thanks, AP. I was new to video poker at one time. You might be able to tell that I joined the forum at this website some 13 years ago. Even then, I knew most of my multiplication tables.advantage playe wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 12:45 amhey new2vp, are you sure you are new to video poker ?? impressive most impressive !!!!!!!!!!!!

My guess is he meant 16/10.New2vp wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 5:17 amHmmm … What specifically does the 10-6 refer to in 10-6 Deuces Wild? Yeah, Winstar has "Not So Ugly Ducks" (NSUD) progressives, which is 16/10. Pretty amazing, tbh.

Consider a hand that included king-ten-four of the same suit with an off-suit three- seven.
There are games (Jacks or Better) where it is right to hold KT.
There are games (Bonus Poker) where it is right to hold just the K --- here a royal is impossible if you make the correct play.
There are games (9/6 DDB) where it is right to hold KT4 --- here a royal is also impossible.
My point is that each game will have it's own "four to the royal" calculation.
