My best day ever at VP was about six months ago in Harrah's AC. I only just about broke even, but my wife finally got her first Royal after 6 or 7 years (with about 6 trips a year, maybe 2-3k hands per trip). She usually plays quarters alternating 1 to 5 coins (ugh), with quite a few mistakes (UGH) anyway she got one playing max 50 cents. And it was in hearts, the only suit I have yet to conquer...nothing like that first time.

I remember my wife's first Royal. She had played along side me for a few years without one. We were playing at the IP in Biloxi. She was dealt 4 to a royal. She held the four cards and we both watched as the fifth card appeared. What a thrill for her. She was hit many since, but there nothing like your first time.TripleTriple wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 6:17 pmAnd it was in hearts, the only suit I have yet to conquer...nothing like that first time.

My first royal was at the Stratosphere on one of those 10/6 JOB quarter machines they had years ago.

10/6 Jacks? Wow, I've never seen that game. My first royal was at the MGM. I'm sure I was playing JB. Can't remember the pay schedule.Carcounter wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 6:16 amMy first royal was at the Stratosphere on one of those 10/6 JOB quarter machines they had years ago.

Believe it or not, the Strat used to have 10/6 JOB and 9/7 JOB for quarters years ago. I'm sure some people on the board remember them.

Day 1 of my September 2017 Vegas trip.
A detailed report of that day can be found here. The first post of that thread.

Hit my first bartop royal at TAG and then hit a 3X dollar quad vulturing in the Flamingo HL room about 3 hours later.

Nice hits vman. Was the meter still counting up when you took the pic.?
If so, the count and the credits being the same, means you hit it with Zero on the credits.
Nick of time, unless i am missing something. Would not be the first time
