Re: Dealt Quads
Not sure about that FAA. Maybe vman or someone will do the math on the probability of being dealt 4 kings in JOB 4 times in 1400 hands. I will say this. It has never happened to me in playing over 25,000,000 lifetime hands. Probably more like 35m, but will call it 25.

I did a very rough calculation that is probably off some. To get dealt 4 kings 4 times in 1400 hands.....I came up with probability of one in 20,000,000.

I hear you on the venting. This game can be so rewarding then so frustrating. Kind of like the market. Now let’’s hope we don’t get both frustrations at the same time.

I didn’t hit big, but certainly big enough to walk yesterday. After all I’ve suffered, premium quad almost upon inception and converting all $50 worth of FP would strongly suggest putting away my card.

Went extinct around 2007/2008 when the recession hit. Did very well on those for several years. They were in Multi game Game King machines. I was told they were in other casinos as well, but I only played the ones in Caesars.dinghy wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 1:49 pmWhen did All American go extinct in AC? Must have been many years ago.Carcounter wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 1:43 pmOnce while playing All American dollar game at Caesars AC, was dealt 4 Kings and 2 hands later dealt 4 Kings again, I swear in the same order and position as before

MotorCity had it here. Back then I wasn't a VP player so knew nothing about it.

Thanks, the timing makes sense. 2007 was probably the last of the dollar games nationwide, then quarters dried up by 2009.Carcounter wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 7:16 amWent extinct around 2007/2008 when the recession hit. I assume many of the Bally machines continued in use, but operators realized it wasn't a good idea to activate AA on the menu. Either that or possibly Bally updated the software to include a short-pay AA variant.
AA was a hard game to play correctly. If you used any kind of regular JoB strategy, you'd be far below 100%. And if you bet less than max, both SF and RF payoffs were shorted.
