I thought it was Chipped beef! If you are old enough to remember that, you are at least as old as me! 😂
My "shingle" comment drew no replies.
Just the two of us remember that war-time version of SOS? Not many old-timers around here I guess. :)

Struggle Saturday. I won $15 on my $30 Resorts BP FP. Returned plus $30, but a max quad quickly made me whole plus. Jitney to Harrah’s. It drove past a casket exiting a funeral home. If only I heeded the bad omen. I hit the day’s second quad within the hour, but it was my BR apex. I lost $134 over the next two hours despite hitting two more quads. Surrounded by slot hand pays. CET shuttle back. Net Day: -$59. 426 TCs.

Actually had some Army SOS growing up ( army surplus ) and believe it or not WW1 canned biscuits that were delicious. We had canned surplus water stored for a nuke emergency. Remember “ Duck and Cover “. After FAA’s post, maybe he should practice Duck and Cover on the
Jitney trips.

Help me understand why you switched from playing 8/5 BP to 7/5? It's clear that 9/6 JoB is available on the same machine, yet you consistently choose to play the weaker game. I don't think there was any promotion going on and you got no benefit from playing the 7/5 BP game for sure.

This doesn't make any sense to me at all.

It looks as if the player was playing at 2 different casinos? Would that account for the 8/5 to 7/5 pay table difference?

Just asking.

Ditto. I think the first one was at Resorts.

I prefer the overall ambiance at Harrah’s. I basically transferred my quad proceeds to them over three hours, as it transpired. Attendants were busy paying off the slot junkies. I cranked out heavy TCs and had decent results. But I stayed and paid. The third hour was predicable overkill and not worth my $64 cost.

Are patrons required to wear overalls? Is it a dress code thing?

Scuffle Sunday. I won $10 on my $30 Resorts BP FP. I left +$5 after 65 futile minutes. Jitney to Harrah’s. Pure agony for 90 minutes. I was on tilt and in bewildering pain/drain. Max quad Aces bailed me out! Jitney back. Everyone left Borgata with a wok set. Suckers surely bowed their Arigatos. Net Day: -$15. 291 TCs.
