Nice hit, not bad for 20 minutes … congrats
Thanks.

Splurged on a McD's double filet of fish with an extra slice of cheese for lunch.

Congratulations. House edge and variance are irrelevant in this hot hit and run! That’s a lot of cabbage.
House edge and variance have never entered into any of my video poker play, ever.

I do enjoy some nice home made cole slaw though.

And we knew that you wouldn't be commenting on good cole slaw.

Speaking of splurging, A little trick I use when I decide to splurge Myself. I take a recent McDonald’s receipt, take the two minute survey, and it’s good for buy one get one any sandwich. You don’t need to have the app. I just put the two fish fillets on one bun and Voila!

I have also done the surveys. I’ve gotten so used app deals that I forgot all about it.

Ditto. The surveys lately have been better deals. Ted, there is a Mcd less than a mile from Bizarro. Just in case …………Even Warren Buffett makes Bill Gates use Mcd coupons when they go there!

There was a famous story many years ago involving Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. They were a Bridge team playing in a tournament and there was a lunch break. Buffet and Gates drove (by themselves) to a local Wendy's and had lunch inside the restaurant. Imagine walking into that Wendy's and see those 2 sitting at a table eating their lunch...

I just left the establishment. Dollar double stack or JBC during March Madness is its signature deal of the year. Key tag free Frosty was claimed. Unfortunately, franchisees are not allowed to dispense the seasonal Mint add in. Still just chocolate or vanilla.

The Wendy’s App is usually very good. Most Wendy’s in Ct have a wheel you can spin for free stuff if you do a survey on a recent receipt. One of the Wendy’s I frequent off and on on my way to Bizarro World has a very nice hard working manager. When I give her the survey form, I don’t have to spin the wheel. She just says what would like. Of course I pick a Dave’s single, but feeling obligated, I will order some other things especially if the Mrs is with me. Not blowing my own horn, but these kids and older people too work extremely hard working in these places and an always busy drive through. Sometimes, especially around the holidays, I tip all of the employees on duty at any given time I am there. They don’t expect it and it brightens up their day a bit. My first job as a young teen was at a McD around 1964, so I know first hand how hard that work is. Soooo different back then. Another story for another time. That was my night job after putting in a full day as a Contractors and Masons helper. ( Summers and vacations). Once again, Congrats Ted!!! Almost like an instant win Lotto ticket which I never play by the way. I will watch your posts for an instant replay.
