It's official... the next VideoPoker.com contest will begin sometime this Friday and run through the end of the month.The format will be similar to last month's contest, and the featured game will be... Super Triple Play!All other details will be announced when the contest begins.For those who would like to get practiced up, we have just put up an AutoHold version of Super Triple Play for download.  Check it out now...  Super Triple Play with AutoHold

I've been poking around on the downloaded version and about the only glaring variance I've seen with DDB is that when dealt a AJQ unsuited, you hold the Ace instead of the unsuited JQ.  That should indicate how valuable quad aces are!I might find time later tonight to plug these paytable in and see what the numbers say about the game.

I noticed a couple of other STP DDB strategy differences over standard DDB in the short time I played.
 
Never hold an inside straight w/o face cards (2356 9), toss everything
Hold only the K from (KT6)s 5h 9c
 
Interestingly, both of these were also true for the QQ version of DDB.

The inside straight and the holding of the suited small card with the KT is two of the holds for AP that I hated to do. This STP contest will make me happy knowing it is all right to not make those holds.
