I wish I'd seen your post before we got to Laughlin! We didn't make it to River Palms but it sounds like it might have been the ONE CASINO in Laughlin that had PE nickel VP. I think there was one other one we didn't make it to either but would have to pull up a casino map to recall the name. I would go just about anywhere to win a "Hat"
Lets see, Riverside, Aquarius, Edgewater, Colorado Belle, Pioneer, Golden Nugget, River Palms, Harrahs and Tropicana Express. Thats about it except for the Avi about 20 mins out from Laughlin and a couple of Indian casinos on the Bullhead side of the river. Shame, I did OK at the Edgewater(broke even). Lost my keester at the Riverside. All the rest I broke even or slightly ahead. Regardless of air temps, the river stays a cool 55 or below so needless to say, a jump in could actually put some people into cardiac arrest! I prefer to play DDB so I didn't look to see if the MG's included PE on their menus, sorry.

Ed, I guess it was River Palms, Tropicana Express and Aquarius that we missed. Just not enough time.We walked down to the River Beach around 9pm after they'd closed the beach area for swimming. My wife slipped off her flip-flops and waded into the edge of the river and darn near screamed! That 55^ temp is way too cold for anyone to be out in...and yet there were scores of people both swimming and riding those Sea-doos.

one rule I go by is do not bet more than the lowest paying 4oak[ex.] on JOB the high cards pay 125 so my total bet is 125 and I adjust the amount of lines to that

MikeA,
Did you by chance try the steaks at Salt Grass Trail Restaurant at the Golden Nugget? They were just opening it up the last time we were in Laughlin. Curious if it was still a nice place - the training crew had just flown in from Houston and we recognized a couple of them.
Love Laughlin's relaxed, quiet, atmosphere compared to the Strip.

Faygo hollered at me off-line.
Larry, We haven't been to Laughlin in two or three years. The last time we drove down there, some idiot with a cell phone stuck in his ear, rear ended us in the RAV 4x4 we had rented and cost us a couple of hours on the spot getting the police report. Then hours and hours settling the insurance claim during the entire trip and then more time after we got back home.
Now, I don't think I need to impress upon all you experienced gamblers the need for honoring signs of luck (both good and bad) so my wife and I decided not to go back to Laughlin...it is luck of the bad kind for us <LOL>
