Re: Hi!! And my Dumb Newbie Question...
I'm not having the Comp Issue in AC. My offers mirror my wife's pretty much. Sometimes her up front Dollars are slightly higher but that is about it, They seem to love VP players as well as Slot Players. Possibly because of their less than stellar paytables.

Sadly becoming par for the course. VP players have a slight edge over the house vs. slot players whom every casino wants to fill their floors with. Slots don't require strategy and not sure what the gaming comm. requires for "looseness". Although VP payouts can be tightened, theres still strategy involved to improve your ER. ER/EV on a slot machine pales by comparison thus they tend to give more to the slot player who don't have that much control of their overall ER. As Webman previously posted, WELCOME!

I almost forgot... Welcome to the forum, QuadMagnet.
Thank you very much, Webman! I'm thrilled to have discovered this forum! Oh, and the free games are great, too! I'm getting hooked on the 100 play games. I've never played them in a casino, and probably never will - I would probably go broke in a matter of minutes. But, it sure would be a thrill!

We have many 10 coin and 20 coin machines at an Indian casino in my area. As a result all the players refer to the machines by there total max coin-in. They called a standard 5 coin dollar machine a $5 machine and of course the 20 coin dollar machines are $20 machines.
This works out well and is probably better than the current standard approach of using the one coin value.

Harrah's in South Lake Tahoe. I've pretty much had it with the whole Harrah's chain. They've downgraded all their machines, I've never been much of a fan of Harrah'$ myself either. The two places closest to where I live, Prairie Band (which was managed by Harrah'$ prior to July of this year) and Harrah'$ in Kansas City, Missouri, both had lower VP tables than the other casinos around the area. The one in Kansas City did have a playable though not exceptional Blackjack game. The Prairie Band Casino never did have decent Blackjack and only had PE All American Poker...the rest of their VP has been pretty bad.But like you, I find that their hotel accomodations are great. We've given them very little in play...well, I speak for myself only. My wife might have run through a million that I don't know about! <LOL> But we do get great offers from Prairie Band and have been getting great offers from Harrah'$ in Laughlin. We stayed overnight there a couple of weeks ago and when my wife checked, we can get several nights free there this Fall.Even the Laughlin Harrah'$ is quite a bit off the path of the other casinos on the River in Laughlin, we'll very likely stay there simply becasue we like the rooms...and the buffet! We were treated very acceptably there and I have ZERO complaints about the corner room overlooking the river and swimming pool.

Probably best you don't know what your wife ran through the machine. I put that right up there with not knowing what is in their purse.

I keep out of HIS wallet when he is awake and he keeps out of my purse and my win stashing locations (plural) in the house that he does not know about. I do ask from time to time if he needs $ when we are gambling when I am WAY ahead. Personally, I think he would rather be broke than admit he lost and needed more $. That works for me! If he mentions my gambling addiction, I mention deposits made to our checking account, end of discussion. I was not the one who suggested Vegas trips in the first place!

Good thing your guy is not on the forum Marie, I would wise him up. Stay out of his wallet when he is awake, makes me shiver and sweat.

Why am I not surprised, OEJ. Truthfully, I believe I borrowed a $20 a couple times in Vegas from Mr wallet, just enough to make it to an ATM in the morning. No worries, we have been together forever primarily due to my overactive sense of humor.
