QQ in Vegas need advice

Just got back from LV and found the two QQ machines at Harrahs. They were each .25 machines. Played over 30 minutes and never hit a QQ, and lost quite a bit of money. Very disappointing. Thought the new machines would be somewhat loose. Not quite as much fun as the October contest. Not too many people were playing the machines. We played at most of the Harrahs owned casinos in LV and did not find the slots to be paying. Very tight. LV needs to loosen up!!!!!!! Has anyone else played the QQ machines? I'd be interested to know if you had better luck.
