Boops no need to confess, you and a lot of us are just gamblers I would say though , if possible, move up to $1 or $5. Pennies and nickels are somewhere around 87-90%. $1 around 92-94% and typically $5 are 95% and greater. In the hold section of Strickly Slots or Casino Player mags, I have noticed that something is going on at Showboat. They are consistently posting the highest percentage of return on their $1 & $5 Slots. Way better then the Borgota who uses a sleight of hand to come out in the top posistion each month by having a huge amount of 1 cent games which are slightly higher returning then the other Casinos in AC.
Oh and $20 in a Mega Bucks machine is always inorder.

Errr, ummmm, and what exactly, does strictly slots say about the megabucks network and its payback? Granted, the $1 and $5 megas payback better than the "less than a buck" denoms do but they're still all high risk. Nice to hit one of them dudes though!

I suspect Mega Bucks is set at the lowest limit allowed. I doubt that the $1 & $5 Mega Bucks is appreciably higher then .05 or .25 , if at all. Unfortunately none of the juridiction require the casinos to break down their hold percentage by game type. VP is lumped in with their overall hold numbers. (Bummer) That would be interesting.

I would venture to say the $1 and $5 denom megas payback better than the silver ones do unless you're talking about the multi-line, multi-coin in games where its base denom is a penny or nickel but max coin in costs you about 3-5 bucks total. Sneaky Petes those slot guys. (like roland) They get you to play a lower denom and then get you to play max coin-in so you can have a chance at that megabucks pot. Anything less than max nullifies your opportunity to score that "retirement" jackpot. You bet your AC Hilton the odds are high!
