Damule,We'll check on this and make sure it's corrected to match whatever is in the casino. Thanks.Doris13,You must be new to these contests... there are always some crazy scores as millions of hands are played and some people get reeeeealy luck to win!Leakysqueaky,Does the gameplay itself slow down for you, the game loading, or something else?

Webman.........The game loads very quickly. Sometimes I can go through all 200 hands without any probs. Most of the time during gameplay, I slow to a crawl and have to "x" out. I'm wondering if its any particular ad that pops up thats doing this?  Thanks for your response.

no webman,i'm not new to your contests, but when i go 7 hands without a single hit and the leader has 77,000 points i know i don't have a snowballs chance in hell of getting anywhere near the leaderboard.

Leakysqueaky, if it appears to be related to an ad, please describe the ad that's appearing when it happens and we can nuke that ad from the rotation. Doris, 7 hands in a row without a hit isn't too unusual.  Keep in mind that in a SINGLE DEAL in ultimate X, you could get 144,000 points! (12x, 3 lines, dealt royal flush).  Is it likely? Most certainly not. In fact, nobody has hit that yet in any of our Ultimate X contests. But those amazing scores up there are the results of huge hits like that, not a whole bunch of wins.See this FAQ answer for more info.

doris,

Hang in there. I have some advice for you though. Do not EVER play this game for real money in a casino. If you're frustrated with the variance for play money, you'll lose your mind playing this game for real. Just like webman said, if you get dealt a full house and then are dealt a royal flush on the following hand you'll have 144,000 points. It can happen!

With the high variance and higher bet, I think this is a game that people tend to play at a lower denomination than they might otherwise play. Those factors alone could make or break you much more quickly as damule says.Higher variance can mean a rocky ride. Of course, as we see in the contests, anyone hitting one of the huge jackpots in a casino would have nothing to complain about.Understanding those factors in the game is important so that you have reasonable expectations when you walk into the casino.

I must agree with Doris about the propensity of getting zilch when a high multiplier comes up. My wife and I have had the same experience both during the contest and when we tried Ultimate X earlier. It is not enjoyable to continuously have bad hands game after game.  It is exasperating. Definitely not a fun way to spend an evening. In comparison, dream card was much more entertaining. Please, don't use Ultimate X for future contests.
FYI, I accidentally clicked on an ad and was knocked out of my game when I tried to return. This happened during the New Year's contest as well and I thought the problem was resolved. Ad this time was related to appliances.

WM,

Thank you so much for fixing the color issue. I feel at home again. If only I can break the leader board now .
