Just thankful you made it home safe Marie! ty Ed, Those of us who live in the NORTH country get into these debates when the weather gets mean: "Do you want to turn back?" "I don't care, what do you think?" "We can cancel, it's not that important." "Let's try it a few more miles and see how it goes." Once we get to a half way point we figure we may as well keep on going.

Wow Marie I just realized that it's been about 15 months since I was last in Detroit, maybe time to go back solo. I almost did make the drive about a month ago. I was up at 3:00 am and drove to Four Winds, along the way I say a sign for Detroit and gave serious thought to just keep going.
Happy Birthday Marie, you are truely a class act. Thak God for you and Boops otherwise this board would really be in a bad way. Ted

3 days early. Classic Marie Majors! You just had a birthday and you're celebrating again? Harumph! (sarcasm dear!) Happy Birthday. Those of us in the know appreciate your humor and contributions to the forum. Just don't let Ted invite you to the Bijou for that matinee! Yes, an early Happy Valentines day.

ty MFP, May you win big on my losses! It was SO fun but could have been better in terms of wins. I am better off playing on this site! Someone hit TWO royals during that six minute tournament, insisted one guy who saw it happen. He had a score of 45K! Normal scores are around 2-4 K. What LUCK! It was a $20K tournament but the top three prizes were only $3K, $1500 and $1000. Then lots of free play prizes between $100 and $500. $25 in free play shows up with your players card at a VP machine just for entering that "free" contest. Those tournaments sure do bring in a lot of $ for the casinos! Should you receive an invitation, hop on it immediately as they fill up and turn gamblers away.
