Oddly enough though I bet you wouldn't sit down at a machine that just hit a Royal... you would sit down at the one next to it.
I agree with you spxChrome. I sat at a progressive .25 DDB machine a few months back and hit a royal after a few hands. The lady next to me said "hmmff, a man just hit a royal on that machine 5 minutes ago, I was going to sit there but there YOU are". Funny thing, if I had known that it had hit that royal, I probably wouldn't have sat there.

YA they say it doesnt matter but seems funny when youre there. One thing that me and my wf have been doing lately, pick a mach and stay on it no matter how bad it gets. Sometimes theyll make a run, sometimes not. Id rather do that then to watch joe blow come up and fire a $10 bill in it and smack the prog that weve been working on for hours(and losing).

The chances of getting dealt a 2nd RF on the very next hand on the same or even a different machine after you were dealt an RF on one machine are the same as the the chances for getting dealt the 1st RF. Do you agree...?
I'm going to slightly disagree here based on probability. Because now we are not discussing the result of 1 hand and another hand independently of each other but the results of 2 hands as a group. For example the odds of 111 coming up in the pick-3 lottery are 1,000-1. The odds of another 111 are also 1,000-1. But if you ask "What are the odds of three 1's coming out two days in a row?" Then you are asking the chances of 111111 coming out which is 1,000,000-1. Or whatever

Always tell my story of the fellow that hit 3 Blazing 7s on a $5 slot at Casino Windsor. After attendant paid him off. Attendant had him spin off the hit. Yes, it hit 3 Blazing 7s on that spin. Back to back $7500 payoffs.

Great, inspiring story, faygo. Every time I walk by those machines, it seems one is hitting! One gal lost $1200 in a Blazing Seven machine. Her husband was not too happy, sat down and hit big including getting her $1200 back. I am not comfortable losing $1200, let alone losing it in the same machine!!
