Re: Gold Exclusive: Double Super Times Pay
Damule, I can verify what webman told you about a dealt hand and a mulitplier on the draw. I got dealt a full-house, held them all and still got a multiplier after I hit the draw button. It appears over the first card.

Also to clarify something I mentioned yesterday, when dealt a royal flush (win on all lines), if the multiplier is enabled (for any value) it will automatically switch to a 20x multiplier and auto-hold the win.
Not all dealt royals will be multiplied, but the ones that are will all be 20x wins.
What?!?
You're saying that if dealt a RF with any multiplier it automatically becomes "20x." So if I'm dealt a RF with a "2x" multiplier instead of receiving 80,000 credits in ten play I'll receive 800,000 credits?

WM, where is the printed info on this game that you're relaying to us? That's very interesting. I wonder if that proves that the expected return on this game is so poor that the 20X autohold RF is used to offset that so this carnival game can return higher than the normal versions with the same pay tables.

See the help screens on the game itself for info about dealt royal with multiplier. If the average multiplier on the deal is 4.01 (and it occurs 1 in 15 hands) plus the average multiplier on the draw is 4.01 (and it also occurs 1 in 15 hands), then the EV of the DSTP game doesn't need any help to get over the base game EV. It is already there. The 20x royals are just a big bonus for those lucky enough to get one of those deals every 5,041,000+ or so plays.I'm presuming that the average of 4.01 is for the deal and for the draw. (WEBMAN, IS THIS PRESUMPTION CORRECT?) That would make the "combined" average multiplier something like 4.148. The combined average multiplier is not that much more than the individual averages since most of the time (96.5%)when there is a multiplier, there is only one.

Thanks New. I missed the part about the 20x multiplier on the dealt royal in the help screens when I read them last night. Although the 20x RF occurs quite rarely, it still has a bearing on the expected return. To what percentage, that's where I would need your help.

Hey mule, the extra 76,000 coins when the dealt royal (once in 649,740 plays) and a multiplier (29 times in 225 plays) both hit figures out to about 0.2154% in game EV. Subtract the "normal" multiplier add-on, which I think is about 12,593 extra coins, and that still leaves you with 0.1797% extra EV for this feature alone...in addition to the "normal" impact of the double multipliers.I'm sure it has an even bigger impact on the variance. I think I'll leave that for another day!

Thats not true. Since in order for this 20x on all hands feature to be activated you have to be dealt a royal flush AND dealt a multiplier, it only occurs on 1/7th the number of hands. Also the bonus amount isn't 76,000 credits since you are already getting at least 4000 times the multiplier. So the effect of this bonus is much less.

I hope you guys figure this out because I plan to hit a 20x dealt royal before too long and I'd like to know how special it really is.
