We're all losing in the long run anyway.

While that statement is probably true for some players not fortunate enough to have access to games with decent pay tables, it is definitely off the mark for those people fortunate enough to have access to games with better pay tables, especially when combined with a good slot club.

Finally got a royal playing deuces.  Playing at the Capri in Biloxi on Tuesday, drew KQJT diamonds and drew the Ace on the draw.  It's been about a year since I had my last royal.  Maybe I've broken the ice for a while?

Congratulations Phil,
Hope the RF comes again soon.

I like your strategy of playing DW to stay in the game. DW can often keep you in the game until the big hit occurs and sometimes can just let you get a hot streak of Straight Flushes, 5Kinds, etc. and build up a nice pot.

I have hit most of my royals playing dueces.  I seem to have better luck with dueces than any other games.  DDB does nothing for me.
Just thought I would throw my 2cents in.

Playing DW the majority of the time is perhaps one reason and another may be because with DW you can often stay in the game long enough to hit the RF. The volatility of DDB is really high compared to DW. But, I play DW a lot for the last reason plus it has the highest return with the least volatility of the games that are offered at the casino we generally play.

Deuces
is played with a 53-card deck. In Deuces there is an extra card,
Joker, which acts as a wild card that can replace any card making
easier for the player to attain a winning hand. Deuces/ Two’s are
also considered as wild cards. Deuces is a simple game based on the
basic poker card game. The game starts when the player decides to
make a bet by clicking on the [+] and [-] COIN buttons. After which
he hits the ‘Deal’ button to begin the game. The system shows the
five face up cards. From here http://videopokerbase.com/ you
may get more information on Deuces.
