In the last VP tournament that I and my partner played in (the Flamingo 'City of Lights' tourney in October) -- you had unlimited credits and played for 10 minutes. So -- faster players can play more hands so that's a plus for experienced VP players. You only gain points from making winning hands -- so there's no credit total -- just a point total. Points are based on the DDB paytable (4000 for a Royal, 2000 for AWAK, 5 for Two Pair, etc...).

 
Also -- Harrah's is *much* nicer than IP. So good choice there.

Doris, our Winterfest VP tournie isn't until Dec 20, but I'll let ya know how we did.

Thanks Doris! I need all the luck wishes I can get.  I'm still working on my 100% VP skill set.
