Re: bankroll
World's smallest casino bankroll story: One son came from VA to attend a sad funeral of a 23 year old relative. The next day we would drive three hours to the funeral of that cancer victim. Our VA son had something he wanted to do in Detroit. Husband, two sons and I decided spontaneously to stop at Greektown casino since we were in the neighborhood. Husband handed me $20. for VP. (We both knew where the ATM was and how to use it.) DDB smiled on me and soon I had $1600, involving some aces, from that Jackson. I donated $500 to the guys, to cover two birthday gifts and more. We spontaneously decided to use my comps to all pile into one room for the night, sans luggage. Our sons ran around photographing Detroit at night besides some casino play. The next morning, I used $80 in comps to purchase all of the baklava at the famous Astonia Pastry Shop, across Monroe Street from Greektown. There would be no time to make something to take to the family gathering. That baklava made a huge hit at the home of relatives after the funeral and luncheon. Everyone knew where the baklava came from but we had agreed not to mention the casino comps that paid for it.It was a sad time but also a time providing fun memories. $20 has never provided so much in wins since then at Greektown!

smallest?
Smallest would be like, "I won on $20."

Nah, I hear you Ed, but that would be shortest. Short is not who I am. Besides, then I could not subject everyone to messages. Like: cherish those loved ones because you never know what might happen. Some may be taken before their time and others might not always live in close proximity. AND instead of allowing those comps to expire, think of a way to use them to please/benefit others.

Glad you had a good trip-hopefully it made a sad occasion at least a little less sad. Baklava is one of my faves!
