You have to account for the flatness of the earth in order to make the secret patterns work. That's why you can beat the casino by not playing the way they want you to in a round world.

Im from the school that believes if someone discovers an entertaining way to do their hobby or whatever, what purpose does it serve to post something listing reasons what they do dont jive with their personal thinking? Just be happy for the guy and offer some encouragement. Its not like we havent seen shadowmans beliefs a hundred times anytime anyone posts something different from his philosophy. Does he ever rest, peacefully?

Once again you are in left field. I posted several advantages of the approach. Maybe you should read a little more carefully.
As for "personal thinking" ... I simply stated a couple of mathematical facts. Has nothing to do with anything personal.

All youre doing is showing that you prefer to respond without reading what you wrote. I see a few of your theories posted, but there's more criticizing than anything and it really isnt warranted. Thats all Im saying. I wish you didnt argue every time someone lays you out. Oh dear, but you already know before posting that your boys are going to come on and try to patch it up for you with their silly comments dont you. If I was as consumed as you with how other people play, heres what I would have said. "I cant prove this but systems like yours probably dont change the expected return of the game. Just stick with the best pay-tables, have fun, and thank you for coming on and sharing your experience. Best of luck in the future." SM

Pure nonsense. Of course, one has to wonder why you choose to post anything. Why should you care?
And, I would never make the statement you asserted above. Your statement is silly and completely false. It demonstrates a lack of knowledge about the factors involved. You really shouldn't comment on things you are woefully inept at understanding.
Once again the variation of an old proverb comes to mind: "You can lead a man to knowledge but you can't make him learn." Fits you perfectly.

Hello NudgraThank you for sharing your betting strategy with us. Some people have pointed out that your strategy does nothing to change the odds of winning, and reluctantly, I must agree with them.Conversely, I completely agree with you and others that to use your betting strategy adds variety to the game of video poker. How many people on this site have stated that they find VP to be boring? In my mind, I liken your betting strategy/tips to money management suggestions. Money management does nothing to improve your odds of winning. Yet much ink is used to discuss money management as an important part of gambling. On my last trip to a casino, the only VP game I played was Quick Quads. I started out playing the least volatile game, at the 25 cent denomination, only three hands. When I had a big hit, I would: A. Change to a more volatile game. B. Increase the denomination that I was playing at. C. Play more than three hands. I did not make all of these changes at once. But, having the freedom of choice, knowing that no matter which choice I selected, that I was having fun, without changing the odds of wining, helped me to enjoy the game more than I might otherwise have done, if I were to be consistent and play only one game, at one denomination, and the same number of hands for each draw.

jim18, you said it better than I could, but while the know-it-all proclaims how dumb I may be the only truth is in how we all find ways to enjoy the game. Imagine if we all found fault in how others play this game instead of seeing the positive in it. Some people do have issues. Another personal attack to follow perhaps?
