Free members must also be able to participate in any contest with prizes because of online regulations. We cannot do a gold only contest for prizes. We were looking into a gold only contest just for fun a while back, but daily contests seemed like a better idea to implement first, making the experience better for both gold members and basic members alike. We have some fun stuff planned for gold members, so stay tuned.

The winner had DEALT royals 20 hands apart and then had Aces with the kicker dealt 10 hands later?  Yeah right!

I would like to know how many winners have there been in VP contests who won based on the draw. I ask this question as it appears that skill, and or timing has no impact on the outcome of these games. Based on your games what would be the percentage of return to the player. You indicated in your post that the games are model after actual casino games.

The contests tend to run around 95% return overall. Not bad, considering people tend to deviate from typical strategy more often in contests to go for those big wins.I don't have any stats on contests won on the draw. That will vary a lot by game type. For instance, in a 50 or 100 play game, a dealt winner is always going to do the trick (although the supporting hands of course matter a great deal if more than one person has that dealt royal and/or kicker)But in a game like Ultimate X or Super Times Pay, a 10X royal on a single line will trump a dealt royal with no multiplier. Those are the games where drawn hands are probably more likely to be winners. And of course, single line where there is no difference between the deal and the draw since it is not multiplied across multiple lines.
