Pick one casino in Vegas... ok maybe 2

Yes, I think the strip is the must for my first time and this is why I ask. I still do not know when though.MGM and Harrahs sound good to start but I will keep looking for suggestions.I will not have much to spend for gambling when I finally do go and I do not expect to win but I DO want to play and I want to play as best as I can which I why I am learning (and because learning is fun) but if they do not have a perfect video poker pay table that is okay i will still have fun even if I do not win. But hopefully I DO get lucky and win big big BIG!

harrah's is a great place to stay - it's the center of of the strip - you can visit one side for a day or two and then reverse your travels - been going for over 25 years - it's like a giant candy store - so very much to see and do and the do is playing all the different vp machines  have a wonderful time

The best vp in all of Vegas is....Arizonia Charlies on Boulder hwy. Several full pay machines even in smaller demnominations...icluding nickle, dime and twenty cent. Also there players club is awesome...great comps and cash back. For good vp the strip in NOT the place to play!

I don't play on the Strip so have no recomendations.
 
On Fremont, I'd select Main Street Station because of the number of machines that are full pay.
 
In outlying casinos I'd select Silverton because of the number of full pay machines.
 
I haven't been to Vegas since 2002, but I'm going next month. Does Main Street Station have a Players Club card with comps, etc.?

All Station Casinos. Each has "Optimum" games section. 25cent to $1. Palms has $1 Full Pay DBonus progressive. Believe they still have $2 full pay DB.

I stay on the Strip when I go on my annual visit so I really can only give you a Strip casino and the one I would recommend is Bellagio followed closely behind by Caesars Palace.  But Eduardo do yourself a favor and just walk into the Flamingo.  Not great VP(except at the bars)but it's classic Vegas.  Walk back by the pool and the statue of Bugsy Siegel-feels real comfortable.  Killer buffet, too.
