My advice: Get a job, Joe, or retire with a pension, and just play VP for fun and to flirt with the drink girls in the casino. Convert the Reward Credits that you earn for Gasoline Cards  or Home Depot/Lowes Cards (that's what I do), and take all the free rooms, food, limos and golf that the casinos will offer.

Ok Joe took some advice to find a better game. Joe settled on 10/7 DB widely available In LV. Joe did have a better year and a half this time around.

after 1 million hands= $-3660 @ 99.93% return

Total  Hard play loss= -3660 + 5000 free  play= +1340

1340 / 1481.48 hours= $0.91 per hour

24 royals                   120 sf                didnt bother with the rest

Joe has been In vegas over three years by now. When he does play, he uses his card for obvious reasons. Joe doesnt realize enough of an income here but doesnt mean that he is a loser. He bet the lions share of his inheritance that the Patriots would win, so.........................Joe is now in black jack dealers school.

Joe should have taken the Giants futures bet for a SB win when they were 6-6. It was 100-1.

Joe is a living example that the distribution is not normal. His results are probably right about the most likely which is slightly below the ER.

Now you know why Frank likes to play progressives with a 2-4% edge. Run your million hands again with a RF of 8000 vs. 4000. That would be about a 2% edge. I think Joe will now be a lot happier.

I hear ya. I learned alot while simulating 2 million hands and hand writting it down. If people realized just how much even 1/2 % adds up, it is huge. Also if Joe didnt have a +$20630 run between 50k hands (including 4 royals) , he would have been in a lot worse shape.
