Comped Meals or Paying with Points?

It's funny with free room offers. Vegas must be hurting as is Laughlin. We haven't been to Vegas for well over a year due to a variety of reasons. We have only played once at Red Rock and once at Green Valley Ranch. That's one session at each, not on the same trip. Yet we are both continually getting free room offers . (Haven't been to any other Station property in years). Likewise, both of us are Harrah's gold, wife was platinum until this year. Almost every day she gets free room offers from Laughlin. If we accepted all of them, we could live there. LOL.

I never pay for food either in AC. I always have enough comp dollars at Taj, Resorts, and Showboat to eat when and whatever I want. FYI Im Signature at Taj, Epic at Resorts and Platinum at Showboat.

 Wow, All I ever did was just show my Diamond Card at the door and that was it.  I was a Diamond in 2010 and that was all I had to do, show my card and voila.....then I let it lapse in 2011 as I was playing mostly elsewhere, but now I am back to diamond for this year but now they have this $10 compdollar charge to gain access to the diamond lounge.   what the hell??!  I will have to ask about the passes and how you get them, the next time I go to Caesars AC.

  In 2011 Harrah's / Ceasar's started charging $10 or taking 1000 tier points per person to enter the Diamond Lounge. They also started to put in thier monthly maillers a coupon/ passes  to enter the diamond lounge without taking the 1000 tier points. If I remember correctly these coupons/passes were located along with the free buffet coupons.

No they are comp dollars-they can be used at shops,restaurants and room service.
