:( and 9/6 DDB? Wow. The game was slightly above 102% when it hit. :(
Sorry to rehash an older thread, but I was wondering how to figure out the EV of multi hand progressives. I have been searching around and have not had any luck yet. Is there a video poker program that is capable of doing these calculations? I have been playing on Video Poker for Winners have not seen the functionality to set individual RF jackpots on Triple Play. I am wondering if some of the other sims may have this function. Thanks,TLD
Yeah I'm not sure any program does that as well. The estimation I made was the factoring in the probability of the 3-royal jackpot by hand which is approximately 1 in 648,272.66: Dealt Royal probability plus 4 to a Royal probability and hitting all 3 royal draws.

Interesting. I have also been searching for how to figure to odds and EV on Triple Play and have found it to be a fairly difficult subject to find much on. Do the odds of 1:648,272 include the possiblility of drawing on 4 to a royal for all 3 as well? Thanks for the reply.

Yes.
Probability of a dealt royal: 4/2,598,960 = 1/649,740 =~ 0.000001539077
Probability of dealt 4 for a Royal and hitting all 3 Royals: 4*5*47/2,598,960/47/47/47 = 1/287,055,132 =~ 0.00000000348365
Sum probabilities together:
1/649,740 + 1/287,055,132 =~ 1/648,272.66
Technically you should consider 3 to Royal draws, 2 to a Royal draws, etc. and hitting all them as well but it will have a nearly negligible effect.
What the hell, here are 3 to Royal draws:
4*10*1081/2,598,960/1081/1081/1081 = 1/75,926,082,414
Summing all three together yields:
1/649,740 + 1/287,055,132 + 1/75,926,082,414 =~ 1 in 648,267.12
Ignoring a triple miracle on 2 to a royal draws or less can safely be ignored to save on math.
