i don't tip when I'm made to wait too long or when they bring back all bennies and linger waiting for their tip. Other than that, I find that giving some of my winnings away brings me added good luck.

And how about when one attendant handles the transaction and then he/she brings 7 or 8 attendants for the payoff as "witnesses" and they all linger, hoping for a tip? If you want a tip from me (a) don't be slow, (b) be very professional and not obviously greedy, and (c) treat me right and I will treat you right, I promise.

I don't think they have a choice on how many come to do a hand pay. I had a jammed 5 dollar bill and 6 people came ! My husband thought I had hit the big one!!!! also don't they have to pool tips and they are divided between all the attendants? When my daughter was a dealer all tips went into a pot and was divided between all dealers except in the high roller room. And not tipping for a drink come on...... these people make 5 dollars an hour....... you tip the valet guy so why not the others to each his own but..............
