I've never seen anyone backed off a VP machine, or a blackjack table for that matter, for consulting a strategy card. The only difference is the casino people probably won't hand you a VP strategy card.
My wife got me a man purse to carry my chess set and clock around in before my last big tournament (a year ago, didn't win anything). Now all I need to get is a pair of man panties and a man bra to hold up my man breasts and I'll be set.

I wish VPW had a MIX setting that included beginning and intermediate levels only.
Thanks all.
On VPW, i would suggest that you play in TEST mode. You should not see any advanced hands dealt until you've shown proficiency at the beginning and intermediate hands that are dealt in this mode.

I try to practice too and I think it is the best way. Sometimes I find things I do not know what to do best so I will ask the program for help but if I was in a casino I think I could make a good choice even if not the very best on a hard hand.

I am happy that you noticed I was gone, boopsahoy. I love this place!!! I have only been busy and not posting many messages or even having time to read much. I need to get caught up again. Things are pretty crazy here I say, crazy! I now have time to start practicing again and am finding that I did not forget much so maybe it is like riding a bicycle. I never fell down any way though trying to learn video poker. I think I want to try dueces wild again soon but when I try more than one game at a time I always get a little confused when I go back and play the other. I think Double Bonus is my best so far. Hey maybe someone should start a topic about how to memorize strategies? I do have problems learning many at once.
