I hope that you have a great time. Airports are a hassle, no doubt about it.
Danke William joseph, for the well wishes.......what are your SUPER DUPER Bowl plans???
And what is your all time favorite Vegas establishment? I know you must be a Strip guy, so let me just say my favorite STRIP casinos are the Riviera (gotta love those Mafia Ghosts) and the MIRAGE (for sentimental reasons.....back in 1992 when I first arrived on the west coast and started working, my job took me to vegas often and I did some work and sales for the Mirage and Treasure Island during those glory days of 1992, 1993 and 1994 just as Vegas was taking off.....Wynn essentially kick started the whole boom times era with his two flagships, and I was lucky enough to have a company as a customer that truly was a "high end" client, they wanted the best of everything for their operations and customers, so they bought the best marketing programs and materials and promotional items....)

This will be the first year since 2002 (Tampa Bucs win over the Raiders) that I will NOT be in Vegas for the SuperBowl. The hotel parties have gotten a little stale, so I decided to not go this year. I am just gonna hang out locally with some friends here at home.
I am an old Steve Wynn guy also, with Mirage being my primary Vegas location for years. After selling to MGM, I saw it changing, and I drifted over to Caesars, where I have been a loyal patron. I now actually enjoy again some of the MGM properties on the Strip as a NOIR, including Mirage, Bellagio and Aria, but I generally HQ at Caesars on trips.

We are flying to Las Vegas on Jan.25, and will be there for 17 days. We're staying at the M (two three day stints), Main Street Station (two four day stays), and one three day stay at South Point.
We will be attending a Super Bowl party at the M.
We will be almost neighbours, DaBurglar, since the second of our two Main Street Station stays overlaps your intended time in downtown Vegas!

That;s how I typically do my Vegas trips......normally I stay a minimum of 10 days, usually 2 weeks, and I break it up like you did,,,,,3 nights here, 3 nights at a different property, maybe spend friday-saturday down in Henderson, then back to another Vegas property for 3-4 nights, etc. This trip on February 4 will be a one time thing for me, as normally 5 days would not be worth the hassle of travelling that far for me, but since I will be already in "travel mode" by staying in AC for a week and will have my travel bags and accessories already packed, I get some economy of effort from that. I like your choice of Main Street station.....that is one of Vegas' hidden gems, a nice simple straightforward hotel casino with no bulls&t, good food, good video poker, nice people and staff and surprisingly good rooms. It still has that old vegas 1970s aura..... If I can I will try and meet up with you, perhaps when we are in vegas we can log on to this site and alert each other as to out whereabouts and make some brief, simple plan to meet? either way, good luck on your 19 day odyssey, and dont forget to check out the "new" PLAZA with Oscar;s Steakhouse.....I havent seen or tried it yet but the Plaza also has a special place in my heart from some early Vegas adventures circa 1992 when I was young and foolish.....its where I learned one hot summer day in August of 1992 that titanium wheelchairs do not float The Jackie Gaughan Plaza Pool Crew was not happy.....

Oops. DaBurglar onemoretry is going to be in LAS VEGAS 17 days, not 19. Unless they hit big, then maybe the trip will be stretched out.

I like the idea of trying to meet. I normally don't bother much with the computer when I'm away, but my wife does carry a tablet which I may be able to use to log on with (usually, though, when I try to use the tablet, I wind up wanting to bounce it off the nearest wall). Or, I can pay for a few minutes of time on one of the lobby computers at Main Street Station.
I should be able to work something out.

I am toying with the idea of a Feb visit to Vegas to see The Eagles in concert, but that is the weekend of Feb 15-16. Will you still be there ?

Further to this, I will definitely make a determined effort to log into this topic on this site while I'm in Vegas, and, particularly, from Feb 7 on, when I'll be at Main Street Station, to see if a meet can be arranged.
