Let me get my head around this. As a professional player, you not only have to find 100% plus opportunities and play perfect with an unlimited bank roll, but also worry that the casino is going to ban you? Have you ever thought about wearing a disguise...

Still has to use his Players Card to get the offers/comps, which help close the gap on the goal of playing with an advantage.

The way I read things, getting no-mailed from stations is like a badge of honor similar to getting backed off at the El Cortez when playing red chips.

I havent been no mailed there but might as well be. My offers are equivalent to some one playing five cents a hand. My play varies but I play 60k - 100k hands a month on $1 and $2 vp. My gf plays some slots on my card so that might be the reason I get a piece of mail from them. Comps are almost non existent.

While having poorer pay tables, the strip casinos would certainly comp you better for that kind of play, I would think. Pick your poison, I guess.
I live in FLA, visit Vegas maybe 6-7 times a year for 5-6 days, and pay only my airfare, sometimes, for the visits.

So wtf is the point of all this? If you strive to be the "Advantage" player that B O B D A N C E R is, I mean reallllllly strive, and then all of a sudden the casino neuters you for being said "advantage" player.........wtf is the ADVANTAGE in that???? Kinda takes all the "FUN" out of being an advantage player if you ask me.....This whole things is just stupid.......the real culprit is the casino that blackballs the advantage Video Poker player. That's just plain GREED and antisocial on their part.....dont they realize that even the VERY few BIG WINNERS amongst the advantage VP player pool will spending whatever winnings on or within the casino property, sooner or later?

I would rather have the full pay vp games. I get most things on the strip comped anyhow since the gf works for MGM and has connections up and down the street. I play good games to keep my bankroll intact not to make a living.

Does your gf have a sister ?
Seriously, I hear you. Comps are only good if they have value to you. For me, as an out-of-town visitor, I enjoy not only the freebies, but the upgraded services that I receive as a 7Star at CET and NOIR at MGM.
