Re: Sonoma Quake
Seeing that I have been through three tornadoes and a lightning strike, not to mention blizzards too, you're right DaBurglar; I wouldn't know anything about natural disasters. Seeing that I have a sister who lived in Los Gatos, CA, I wouldn't know anything about natural disasters. I care about alot more than just taking potshots at you.

Nice pivotThe tornadoes definitely count, they are terrifying....we actually had a terrible one here in Western Massachusetts in 2011 that destroyed swaths of Springfield and surrounding communities......and guess what? One of the HUGE selling points that MGM-Springfield put forth in getting approval to build their casino with the one license awarded to Western Massachusetts was simply this: MGM was going to build this latest shrine to short sighted greed right smack dab on the property(ies) that were destroyed by that 2011 tornado! But sorry, blizzards and Lightning simply are not in the same category as a 6.0 (or greater) earthquake, and it is obvious why. I am not saying they cannot kill you, because they can indeed.....but you get plenty of warning with blizzards and you can do LOTS to prepare and protect yourself, and lightning also gives some warning as well as ample ways to prevent and protect harm to yourself. Earthquakes render you totally helpless, until it ends.
