Gift cards work for us, especially if we know what their favorite store is like Kohls for example. We have also given seasonal things like a scarf, jam from a great place, novelty things, really nice costume jewelry and once in awhile cash. Since Mohegan Sun has moved away from the assigned hosts except for level 4 players, we mostly have been giving things to the concierge staff and hotel check in people. Coffee for them is a must on every trip I make since they cannot leave their stations, but are allowed to have coffee, water, juice etc. I feel really bad for employees lately in generat as management continues to erode their benefits, pay, and bonuses. These are some of the most dedicated employees I have ever met and this is how they get rewarded.
