Re: The one coin system pays in 2015
Thanks for sharing wildman49 and nice hit!
Dealt deuces, happens about 1 in 54000 hands.
The system calls for a cash out at $50, I've noticed you just played through to get those ducks.
I've yet to hit Quad Deuces on Deuces Wild, but have got them in JoB more than a fair share.alpax, I was on my way across the casino floor when I stopped at one of very very few slots I will play, sizzling 7's. On the third pull I hit for $300 that is why the ticket was over $1300. I then hit the dealt deuces on the third machine I played on the bar top . I been playing the system at the 25 cent level most the day, when I got to the bar top I went right at the $1 level from the get go. When I play the system at the 25 cent starting level I never put more the a 20 in so I can move up to the $1 level after $25.00 like the system is set up.

I just played Double Down Stud Deuces Wild on this site at a very fast pace for about 2 plus hours. While I did not hit a Wild Royal which would have paid me 200 for my 1 coin bet when doubled, I was still playing 1 coin and had 70 more credits to lose before I would have to bet 2 to be even or better if the Wild Royal hits. That is good news for my reduced budget for the 2015 year. That means I should be able to play this and or Phil's method at the casino with a budget for the day of less than 300- I am sure. Of course any real Royals or dealt deuces quads that come my way, so much the better. 3 successful live tests so far this year at Mohegan Sun and probably another one end of this week when the arctic blast is done I hope.

Make sense to me now. A good sight to see 7-7-7 off of any slot machine, though the firery 7's will mean the top prize. Congrats on both your wins! Its hard based on experience to win off one machine and go to another and win off it too. At least you played the classic reel slots that pay out better than those video penny games (high cost hardware along with licensing rights/royalties to use certain themes).

A very important part of the Cheap Video Poker strategy is the rule of never playing more than $20 at a time. If you play on this website you can not simulate this as you are playing with credits and can not change the denomination. Limiting your play to $20 allows you to know where you are at all times and when to make the jump to dollar or dedicated max coin play. If you use the cheap strategy without jumping to the higher denominations, you are giving up the potential for a huge jackpot win. My wife likes to play max coin quarters on all hands over $25. I like to switch to dollars. It's interesting because she gets far more $250 quad deuces than me, but I catch back up to her when I hit a $1,000 quad deuce. Each time you put another $20 in the machine, stop and assess your remaining cash, total up any cashed out tickets and think about what's happening in the game that day. You will be a much better player if you are observant instead of blindly hitting buttons. You will never be able to predict jackpots, but you will be able to notice trends and possibly take advantage of them.

Theoretically, there are no such things as trends in random data.

The old saying...Let the trend be your friend is certainly true in vp also. I have a way around the 20- factor by playing on this site. When I practice the Phil method, and 80 credits or a twenty has been eaten up, I just close out the site, keep a record on a pad, and start all over just as if I have moved to another machine or to a different part of the casino. I can still play max coins on the site, I just can't switch to dollars. I could keep a paper record as if I did switch to dollars. I don't know if that will be too much work. I do find though that with Double Down Stud, blindly playing that one coin until you have to increase your bet as I described below works for me at least on that game. It is pretty much the opposite of the Phil method since my bets increase as I am losing, ( but very gradually) not winning.
One trend I have noticed for years that never changes. If a certain game is not hitting, you cannot force it to hit no matter what method you use. Switching games or even going to a different part of the casino helps too. The best thing I have found to beat a bad trend is to just stop if you are playing in the evening for example and try again early in the morning. Over the years, my biggest jackpots have always come between 4:30 AM and 7:30AM. Many will say that is nonsense and just coincidence, but after millions of hands played, I will just respond with the statement....Let the coincidence be your friend... ...One more funny thing...I have had slot attendants suddenly appear in my area and hang around just before a hand pay hits. It may not be on my machine, but it will be in my general area. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed that too. Other times when nothing is hitting, the attendants will be nowhere to be found. Sometimes you need them too for a stuck ticket or another type of malfunction. I even have to call the casino sometimes from my seat to have them send one over to my area, but somehow, they seem to be nearby when the jackpots do hit.
Theoretically, there are no such things as trends in random data
In theory Yes, but the one thing that all wild card games have in common is runs of good and bad hands. The trick is knowing when a run is over. You can't actually know this, but I believe you can make an educated guess that is often better than no guess at all. It's a lot easier to do this playing single coin because the counter bell isn't sounding off as much. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

Unless he is as lucky as you have been this past year, I'm not sure of that. At least I sorta hope that you've been extremely lucky, otherwise we have some gigantic VP conspiracy on our hands...which about half of our major posters here seem to believe, unlike the other forums I post in...sigh
I still hold on to faith that casinos in ~20 different states wouldn't be breaking state laws...even though I'm close to 2 cycles in without a royal (which is still definitely possible by the way).

interesting comments. either the machines are random or they are not. one cannot argue it both ways. anything other than 100% random or there is some form of manipulation is involved. i happen to believe they are not random, others have made good arguements that they are random. i wish they were right. but, one cannot argue they are 100% random and still suggest that less than max coin pays better or one can guess a machine is going to pay or not.
