Re: Dueces Wild question
I am new at Spin Poker and I like to play dueces wild. If you are delt 4 dueces with a face card do you keep the face card? If you throw the face card do you automatically get 4 dueces or does it turn into what ever is drawn. For example 5 of a kind?
A bit confused.

you keep the four dueces and let the other do whatever. It will come as 4 dueces and not 5 of a kind (unless the machine is broken!
).

It doesn't doesn't matter if you hold the face card with the deuces, you will end up with 4 deuces on all three lines. I believe all VP games state that only the highest winner is paid so even though you have other winners they are ignored.

Darn,
I was playing a $400.00 per pull machine and kept a queen. Still paid out well but not what it could have. If I am correct it could have been around $300k.
Oye Vey!!!
Thanks for the clarification. Any other advice for a newbie? Sure enjoy the game.

Pancake, I am confused and don't want you to walk away with bad advice. Was this a 3-line spinpoker deuces game? If so, how could it be $400 per hand. A $25 dollar game would still only be $375 per pull. Also, if it was a $25 dollar game then you should have won $75,000 for the dealt deuces and could not have won any more. Now I'm wondering if you were playing a 9-line version of the game or something else. Please clarify.

Spin poker deluxe dueces wild. 5 across and 3 down. Max bet $400.00 or $450.00(can't remember). Got 4 dueces and held the queen of spades.
Thanks for your patience.

Spin poker deluxe has a 3x5 screen but allows bets on up to 20 lines. How many lines were you betting? If it was a $5 machine and you were betting all lines at max then the total bet would be $25*20 or $500 per spin. If you were betting 16 lines then it would be $400 per spin.
Since all the results still take at least one card from each of the held cards you should still end up with 4 deuces on all the lines and no more or no less whether you held the queen or not. Each line would be a $5000 win for a total of 16*$5000 or $80000 for 16 lines and $100,000 for 20 lines. You could not win $300K in this situation.
Am I getting any closer?

Doesn't matter in this situation.
Many experts recommend keeping all cards when drawing cannot improve the result. I'm a little less sure this the best approach as I've seen people switching between games like DDB and DB and get dealt a bonus quad, hold all five cards and then realize they were playing DDB where they may have been able to improve the hand by drawing a kicker.
