Good potshot hit! Thrilling that it happens in about 1 in 216k deals and happened when you went big.

Though I have witnessed once and heard two or three stories where people held the quad Aces - 4s but not the last kicker. Two of them got another kicker to save them from their mistake.

At least you did not make that mistake.

My mom did that ONCE...got dealt AWAK on 25c DDB...FORGOT to hit HOLD and hit DRAW...BAM! $500 GONE!
Luckily, Aces AND AWAK hit AGAIN on that same machine that night...but we learned a lesson...
If you screw up like that, be SURE to call a slot tech and they can see the history and they'll 99/100 pay you anyway.

i would be very interested to know if what was stated is really true, you forget to press the hold button and call a tech and they will pay you anyway?

Not at Wild Horse Pass in AZ. I hit the correct hold buttons on a straight flush deal but one button popped off when I drew for the second hand. Had I made a mistake, I would not have complained but it was an equipment malfunction so I called a tech who verified what I had been dealt. He called a manager who in essence told me tough luck. Haven't been back since and that was several years ago. I am sure we would have lost more than the $62.50 the sf paid in that time-frame.
