Who has hit a Royal in the first 5 minutes of play

This isn't exactly on topic, but in the ballpark. Two years ago, the Mrs. and I were playing vp at opposite ends of the casino due to where our favorite games were located. After a couple of hours, I called her to see how her game was going and to see if she was ready yet for some Noodle Soup or coffee and. While chatting for a few seconds, she Hit Aces with a kicker on a quarter DDB game.
Later in the evening, the Mrs called me to see how my game was going. As usual, it hadn't been going too well, and I was about ready to turn in for the evening. I was playing Double Down Stud Deuces Wild and while deciding on the phone where to meet in the casino a few minutes later, I was dealt quad deuces for a grand.

I think my last royal was within the first five minutes of actual play. I'm not positive though. I was in such shock, some details are a bit blurry.

Pissed away about 20% of that royal's value tonight though. I better start getting "free rooms" at my local again because I definitely paid for a room tonight!

It's always a lot more fun to remember the good times than the bad.  That's what keeps us coming back.

5 minutes - only when playing FP when I caught a royal on the 3play QQ machine. My FP balance didn't cover the 18 credit bet, and I didn't add any cash, so it was a short coin royal.

In January. A quick grand in my hand! I think I'm about even at the venue in 2015.

Yeah, been there done that more times than I care to elaborate on. I hope at least the beer was good. I don't know why, but almost every time I have hit something good, the next several sessions just seem to gobble it right up even playing the same way as prior to the hit. Hope they come through on the rooms. If they don't, you will just have to get back at them on the beer. I hope at least that is " free ". Don't forget the standing room/beer offer if you guys ever get out to Mohegan. This will probably be my last cycle though with any big free stuff. Just too dammed expensive to maintain. Getem back next trip.....

A few weeks before The Showboat, AC closed I was attending a seminar nearby and decided to stop in during the hour lunch break.  I walked in and gingerly put a twenty into a single-hand Joker Poker dollar machine.  The first hand I played I was dealt the 10, J, A of diamonds.  I chuckled and thought what are the odds as I held those cards.  I picked up the Q and K.  I was beside myself and went back to that seminar with 4000. in my bag.  I may not remember the course content but I will always remember that lunch.
