Phil I have also gone back to max quarters this year. Coin in $60,000 and up $5 for the year with one royal playing mostly 9/6 jacks. I do play less since CS did allow for much more play time, but am ok with less play at max bet. I guess Vegas Bob is rubbing off on us! I do have to say am over $800 in free play/kiosk games elt. , this does help the bottom line.

WM, given your name max coin play was a given. You're bound to have that big loss day when you can't hit a thing. Those pile up a lot. A max play day would make me very nervous.

The good days come in as well if you play enough hands over time it seems to balance out on 9/6 jacks. This is gonna sound crazy but on the first of this month I played a 12 hour marathon and had 29 four of a kinds. Still lost $500.

I am playing a lot of 9/6 job for 2016 and doing well with it. To offset the boredom, I have combined Phil's CS with my dangerous Martingale Clone, but have made it a very mild progression. It will only work on machines that allow you to bet more credits than 5. At least 10 and ideally 25. Following the same CS rules but only starting my play at bet 5 not bet1, I just stay there until a hit of 4 or more. At that point, my next bet is 6. If it wins, I back it down to 5, if it loses, I keep a note for next time. Should bet 6 fail 4 times when it is called for, the next time CS calls for a bet increase, by bet will be 7. On a hit at bet7, I reduce the next bet to 6, if that wins, back to 5 and stay there until another hit of 4 or more. The idea of course is to hit your quads with more that the minimum CS bet. I don't even count on the Royal, but if it hits so much the better. Once in awhile my bets on hits of 4 or more have called for the next bet to be in the low teens, but so far for 2016, the hits have started coming at those levels and I have been able to back down and cash out ahead. You can try it on this site, but would need pen and paper to keep track of the wins and losses at bets over 5 since this site only allows up to bet 5 on single line games.

A good time was had at the Hollywood Hard Rock.  We played max coin Airport Deuces for three days.    I hit three quad deuces and a couple of good pot shots and came home even.  My wife never hit a quad deuce and she lost about $400.   She's been over royaled lately so she had it coming.  I've been watching her hit royal after royal for the last six months and it was getting old.  The rooms at the Hard Rock this time of year are $575 a night  (Yikes!).   We paid $90 through the players club. The 99% odds make a big difference.   We got bored a few times and played penny slots.  Some of the new games are tons of fun and they seemed to pay well.  I don't think we lost a dime playing them.  One thing came out of this trip.  We both tried to image what it must be like to play video poker for a living.  We both agreed it would be horrible. Your butt hurts, your legs ache, drunks all around, smoke blowing in your face and loud music blaring in your ears.  Add all that to playing Jacks or Better for years at a time.  I'm pretty sure I would shoot myself...

The $485 difference a night means you guys played over the 100% return the way Mr. Dancer would recommend to people here. A cheaper than retail vacation.

This is one entertaining thread! Twelve hour JOB marathon freaturing twenty nine quads. $500 net loss. Where's the strait jacket? I would have been fit to be tied. That's about my $20 hourly loss when nothing goes right, but I may do three hours. You had by far a superior session given its length and the prevalence of temporary quad bail outs. How many machines did the marathon require?

Yes.  The machines are directly in front of the Lucky Street parking garage entrance.  Single line dollar machines are on one side and 5-6 single line multi denomination machines are on the other. Those machines all have Airport deuces (98.91%) in quarters.  The rest of the machines in the casinos have crappy pay schedules.  The little casino in Immokolee has quarter AP deuces also. Tampa has Airport Deuces starting at .50.  Good Luck!
