Re: Off to Blackhawk!
Back in the Denver Airport after a great week in Blackhawk Co. What a treat! 9/6 jacks, 9/6 DDB & NSU Deuces, all available in single line quarters and up. Beautiful light snow in the mountains and the rockies are a nice change for a couple of kids from Florida. Except for sleep and a few road trips, we played solid from Sunday afternoon until Thursday evening. My wife is having her usual great luck. She hit a bunch of quad deuces and more wild royals than I have ever seen before. My poor luck continues, but the damage was light. No natural royals this trip. The TVs at the Ameristar weren't working, but it was just as well. If your wife likes video poker and you want a great vacation, this is the place.

Phil - it was a pleasure meeting you and your Mrs at Ameristar. Hope to see you both again.

Likewise, I always enjoy meeting someone from the forum. You are really lucky to have such great video poker nearby. We're already planning our next trip back, maybe this fall. Don't spend all that progressive money in one place.

Thanks. I have so much more fun playing on these vacations than making my standard weekly donations to the Tampa Hard Rock. Quality play is so much better than quantity.

If you ever think about a casino trip to Michigan Phil I would be glad to Chauffeur you two from MBS airport. The runway is one and a half miles behind my house! No you don't have to walk to my house I will pick you both up. LOL The casino is a 45 min ride. Would love to see you, think about it!

Send FP a link for those fantastic Michigan lake trout and a list of the malls and outlets on the way to the casino. That should do the trick..... Sorry Phil and Wildman for butting in, but that sounds like a really nice offer for them. Good luck and stay well all....Olds....

A few years back we made a video poker road trip to Windsor Canada, upper Michigan, parts of the Midwest and back through St. Louis. We had a great time and as I remember some of the native casinos in upper Michigan had decent odds. I hit a $2,000 royal flush (no taxes) in the first 20 minutes in Windsor and played the entire trip for free. I'll check out Michigan on VPFree2.com. Where do you suggest playing?
