Re: Mohegan Sun takes a break
Heading up to Mohegan for an overnight in a little while. Keeping to the same game plan. I seem to do much better in night games or very early morning. Most of my all time biggest hits have come between 3:30 and 4:30 AM. I have heard others say the same thing. Hmmmmmm. Putting aside 40 bucks for pot shots separate from the normal roll. I may not even use it, but boy when they come in....as we all can see....they can wipe out a year or more of losses. Perfect weather today. Just had a long fast walk at the beach and am just about ready to roll. Wanted to get all of that fresh air in my system before the recycled smoky casino air fills it up again. That is the worst thing about the frequent casino visits. AIR QUALITY.....

Just a quick post about Sunday nite and Monday morning results. Only five Aces once and only one five of a kind. Enough to play for a while, but not enough to save the 500- bankroll from getting busted because neither the quad deuces or a Royal showed. I would have been OK, if I got the 5 Aces or low number 5 of a kinds several times or even one Wild Royal on the DDS game, but didn't happen this trip. I should have caught myself but didn't when I hit the low number 5 of a kind early on on the DDS bonus deuces wild game. That brought me 200 to the good. The smarter play would have been to put away the 500 bankroll for the next trip and just play with the 200 until something else hit or it was gone. Of course I could have just quit early and watched a game or TV for the rest of the night and the next morning, but how many of us do that. Anyway, the results are in. Chalk one up for the casino this trip. On the plus side, I had a beautiful room with view of the river and woods on a high floor, some really good food and drink, and some good conversation. Missed the wife's company though as Monday was the first day of school for the kids and there was no way she could go up late Sunday eve as I did having to be at school before 8. She was better off with me being out of her hair while she did last minute preps for school late into Sunday evening.

Chalk one up for the casino this trip.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Misery loves company. Very similar Sunday Caesars JOB trip! Mid level $75 quad thirty minutes in. Unfortunately I stayed at the machine another three hours without another quad. Almost 2000 hands with the one stinking quad means bust! So I did lunch. $60 ATM. Regained my losses and then some, but a $195 give back on the formerly "hot" machine when I left town. I played through everything in hopes of a comeback. A pathetic sitting duck session left me devastated and in tatters. Racked up tier credits, but I'd rather have those two hundreds!
