Re: Dreamcard single line on this site
DaBurglar how dare you call me a Nazi in this open forum. Not only am I personally offended but I'm quite sure that there are more than a few members who may also be offended as well.
You sir have reached a new low.

Let's compare:
CK has an active Silver membership, DB has an active basic.
Thanks Ted,
Until I read your post I didn't know I had a Silver membership. I asked my wife about it and she says Surprise! Happy Anniversary. Will be 50 years on the 4th.
I guess I'm no longer a Freeloader.

Oh boy! Please accept my apologies for ruining the surprise, give that woman a good hug on your anniversary.
I'm still amazed at the achievements you've racked up.

You sir have reached a new low. blow it out your alternative fact hole....anyone with reasonable comprehension skills can see the context and application here.....or am I to assume both you and CK went bat-shiite crazy during Seinfeld's Soup Nazi phase episodes??? what did you do, picket 30 Rock? The term "Nazi" in modern day application is often utilized to denote an extreme intolerant stance or attitude or position on the part of one group towards another, or even individual to individual.Your intolerance of the use of the word Nazi is in fact Nazi-ish......

DaBurglar there is no point in trying to back track now.
From Webster's:
Definition of Nazi
1
: a member of a German fascist party controlling Germany from 1933 to 1945 under Adolf Hitler
2
often not capitalized
a : one who espouses the beliefs and policies of the German Nazis : fascist
b : one who is likened to a German Nazi : a harshly domineering, dictatorial, or intolerant person.

Well, I have to chime in here. I'll say that I indeed hear the word "nazi" used frequently these days in relation to any sort of extreme and/or pushy opinion, having nothing to do with Germany or the Nazi Party. Grammar nazis, breastfeeding nazis, femi-nazis... all sorts, sadly... including the aforementioned "Soup Nazi" character put forth by Jerry Seinfeld, who I think we can all agree was not referencing the Nazi Party in any way. DaBurglar's referring to "gold member Nazis" was obviously a reference to people being pushy about upgrading to gold and not white supremacy (though I really haven't seen that sort of pushiness here, other than from edog in an often lighthearted manner).Having said that, Tedlark obviously does not appreciate the term being used about him personally for understandable reasons. Personal attacks are not allowed, so please refrain from using it about him in the future since it would obviously come across as mean-spirited, given what you now know. Thanks.

The soup Nazi episodes were among my most favorites of all Seinfield shows. I probably have watched those ones maybe four or five times.
Now....a clarification. DaBurglar said his Royal was natural, but on the screen shot I can see that it was a Dream Card Royal. Still nice, however. My congrats.

It's a modern day interpretation of a natural.

I have never been called a Nazi before. I am not sure I should be offended or not. I guess it is better than being called a freeloader though. That was meant with humorous intent Ck.

I guess I should be happy that I wasn't called a Freeloading Nazi???
edog - first time I've ever in my life been called a nazi myself. I do remember attending a protest once when the American Nazi Party wanted to rally in Marquette Park in Chicago, picture that scene from the movie "The Blues Brothers" except no 74 Dodge Mount Prospect retired police cruisers were involved.
