Re: Quadless
It took another 150 hands to get a quad. So, 3,350 hands total between quads.

It has been over 2,350 hands since I had a quad. Most of the play was JOB and Bonus Poker. About 20% DDB. Bad luck seems normal for me. People next to me get quad Aces with a kicker twice within 15 minutes, quad 2s, and other quads while I wait for a quad. This was playing different machines and in 2 casinos. Anyone else have bad luck like this?
I, like almost everyone, have had similar streak.
I've also hit six quads in under three hours slow playing.

and I've hit 4 aces on bonus poker 5 times in an hour about ten years ago. What a wacky game we play. Nothing follows the rules short term.

So my next 8,250 hands, I had 30 quads!! Including my quad drought, I had 11,600 total hands and 32 quads. That's about a quad every 370 hands. I didn't think I could recover from being quadless, but I did.

I'm not sure if I've already commented, but the first thing that must be questioned is accuracy on a quadless streak, then strategy. It's possible you're holding pairs when dealt trips and holding high cards when dealt low pairs. Relatively common mistakes that do happen.

Quadless on almost a thousand hands of dollar JOB over two days on the same machine. Yesterday was a net win on it, but today a $160 beating in an hour. Min coin full houses compounded the crisis. I shall omit this place from my itinerary if not memory. A forty dollar hourly loss on quarters never looked so good. Doubled over in agony.

I don't make major mistakes when I play. I use VPW software to practice with correction. If I make a mistake, it is less than a penny. I practice much faster on the computer than I play in the casino. I double check my holds in the casino. I also have Best of VP and VP Tutor on my iPad and practice with correction. Before I go to the casino, I know what game I am going to play before I get there and I practice before I go. It is just my very bad luck.

This too shall pass.
Chances of going quadless for a thousand hands aren't that much different from the chances of hitting two in the same period.
What I don't get is you know playing single coins at a dollar is worse than full coin on a quarter yet every week you post this stuff.
