Re: Casinos in the North East?
Thanks for the replies. The Borgata is defiantly on our list as is the Seneca Niagara. Frankly, we could care less if the games are random or fair. If we're sitting at the right place at the right time, we win. Otherwise, we don't.So far we have three casinos for our trip, Bordata, Seneca Niagra and the Mohegan Sun. Another have any info on Montreal CA?

You will probably be looking at $135 to $160 per night for a standard room at Seneca Niagara. An upgraded corner suite will run you around $285 per night. The best corner suite, view-wise, is one ending in 02, i.e., 1602, 1702, etc. We try to avoid ones ending in 29, as they are adjacent to service elevators. There are only four per floor, the others are 01 and 30.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the casino/hotels in the northeast are a little pricey. We figured this would be the case.

Not if you look me up a week or so ahead Phil. Is free too pricey for ya? I'm only level 4 till the end of Sept. I will never hit that level again.

We are going to make the Mohegan Sun our first stop. May be skipping AC altogether. So far it's looking like some time in September. We'll take you up on your free room!

We will be starting and ending our trip at the Mohegan Sun. I'll contact you again when we have the dates nailed down. Right now I'm trying to determine if there are any Class II video poker machines in NY State. There seems to be some nice Indian owned casino resorts in the north end, but we don't want to play slots or Class II games.

Phil, check out this link. It should help with Finding class III versus II in NY

There is also a brand new Casino resort that opened last month, Rivers Casino and Resort in Schenectady, NY. I do not believe they have a hotel opened yet though.

Tioga Downs I believe is now a Real casino. The operaters are one of the few who were awarded permits for class III gambling. If you click on there reports you will notice the reports stopped November 2016. Again though I do not think their hotel is open yet. It says coming 2017 on there website.
