As a Hoosier, I unfortunately know this all too well. A $2k signer nets $1915.40 after taxes and a modest tip. That state tax money is gone for good. It feels great to hit a jackpot, but the thrill is lessened a bit by the taxes.
This makes a lot of the better games in the area "less playable" due to taxes - $1 TB+, $1TDB, $2QQ and most $5 (out of my league).
