No sympathy here for Tillerson, who hollowed out our State Department by forcing hundreds of mid-level career diplomats into early retirement.

Well this is true, but I'm certain in this case, Rex was following orders from Trump to slash head count, just as Rex was following orders not to spend ANY of the money devoted to Russian counter measures! In those issues, Rex was in step with Der Donald....
But when Tillerson accused Russia of poisoning the agent in England, that was verboten!
I think I can speak for the forum when I say no one believed you would end your rants.

Again, if this were a bonafide "rant" it would have included so much more and gone on for much longer...
I don't see what's wrong with good spirited debate once in a while about stuff that actually has some importance and relevance in our lives....
I'm open minded enough where if someone shows me Trump is actually, honestly accomplishing stuff that's legit, I'll acknowledge it....

Bill, As a fellow boy from Queens, you should know I am completely comfortable with myself. I am truly enjoying the complete meltdown of some people on the left. As I may have mentioned before, I grew up in the projects in Queens and my family were devout Democrats. Me too at an early age. Then I got married at 23, had kids, worked two or three jobs bought a house on Long Island and figured out the Dems didn't represent my interests. But at that point, I still respected them, not anymore. I guess we are just wired differently.

Did everyone catch Hillary's comments in India yesterday? She still doesn't get it. Anyone who voted for Trump is a dumb racist,anti-woman blah blah blah. I take this personally. I am a Professional Engineer, have 2 Engineering degrees, have a successful business, that I started by borrowing against my house with 2 young kids. She doesn't know a GD thing about me.

For crying out loud! Don't apologise/apologize for Expressing your views and opinions! And the heck with this " rant " crap....as I said, rants are a matter of opinion and interpretation....in this section of the forum, feel free to rant all u want!
I agree with you that shrillary went off the rails in India yesterday with her generalization about Trump voters and what not....you are correct, this is exactly why she lost, her inability to relate and understand the demographics of this country and what people ( not just women, LGBT and minorities) really need and want.
Look, anyone with a clue knows Trump has zero compassion or understanding of what a average person goes through or needs....that's just who and what he is, and the Republicans have long been the party of the rich and powerful, and those who aspire to be....Hillary and the Democrats, on the other hand, long advertised and fancied themselves as being "for" the average person, the downtrodden, and for making sure the system is "fair"....but of course this is baloney!!! Long ago, the Democrats abandoned the average middle class people and instead became the party of abortion rights, LGBT rights, and any other "marginalized" group who felt life is "unfair" to them personally!
I'm sick of the partisanship, the absolute and outrageous refusal to compromise on anything, and the joy with which many people on both sides of the divide embrace hatred of the other along with willfull ignorance and denial of obvious facts.
Full disclosure: I'm not at all involved with politics in my real life.... I don't believe, nor am I affiliated, with or in either party, nor subscribe to either "way of thinking", as I see both as seriously flawed and lacking in substance and yes, even harmful!
I take each and every issue one at a time, just as I take people... I'm inclined to believe and put my faith in the God of the Bible and his son Jesus Christ.. I think if you take the time to actually read it, you begin to see just how far off both parties, and politicians in general, are from what we should be doing! But the only thing that will annoy people more than discussing politics on this forum is discussing religion and Christianity, again even though this section of the forum, technically, is the appropriate place to do it!

DaBurglar you are TOTALLY missing the intent of this forum. 95% of this forum is reserved for an exchange of: video poker talk (including strategy, recreational play, etc.); other casino gaming talk (i.e. keno); overall casino talk.
The remaining 5%, the Anything and Everything forum is for lighthearted banter, uplifting and engaging exchanges and the like. Stuff like talk about Game of Thrones or other television shows, movies, cars/motorcycles/trucks, fun stuff.
You have single handedly turned the Anything and Everything forum into your own personal soapbox. It's great that you want to RANT on about politics and your hatred for DJT but go do it on CNN's forum because it doesn't belong here. Do you post about video poker and casinos on Fox News's open forum? No you do not.
You openly stated that you would stop posting political rants and you broke your word. So you lied and that is a sin. I mention this only because YOU brought religion into this recent via your latest post here.
