   DaBurglar just out of curiosity; what do you use when you post pictures here?

At first I used Instagram, but that really isn't the proper application as it's more akin to a social/networking/sharing site than just an image hosting utility, plus I inadvertently divulged my personal info when I attempted to use it once a while back...my next choice was Photobucket, but we now know where that site is at...so imgur looks like one of the best options right now...

OK guys and gals. Obviously, I missed something on the posting of pictures in the months since I was on the forum. Someone give me an update on the new procedures since I used my old Photobucket.

Head over to Yahoo Groups/ VP Free. There you can create a folder if you like and add your pics really ez. Then give us the link. Or just post them on the 2017 grouping.

Good advice, CKYahoo is indeed free, and it's as easy as anything you will find out there, but a word of caution:  your spam folder may explode with other Yahoo groups soliciting your attention, followed by loads of other emails you never heard of or want to hear of.....Yahoo shares everything with everyone apparently......But it is EASY, and people have the choice to look or not.....

Just wondering.Sure, and that's why I specifically stated "Your spam folder may explode....." etc.Of course, as often happens, something that should be caught by your spam folder slips by into your legit email and you accidentally click/open it......but what I was also emphasizing, the open, public nature of YAHOO in general with such free groups means your email and any attached info is available to anyone who wants it, and such things are prime fishing grounds for people with less than noble, honest objectives & designs.But the plus side, as I stated, is the ease with which Yahoo is used and accessed, so if someone doesn't want to use imgur or photobucket, and if someone (like yourself for instance) who admittedly is not computer "savvy" but often has pictures he wants to share, he can now do so very quickly without delay!

I've been in that group forever, and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Used to post a lot of pictures there.

Awesome.... what's the group name then??? Is there some compelling reason you never ever mentioned it until now?? I'm serious, this is precisely what we need here...


Edited to add: nevermind, I decided not to be totally lazy and went in search myself...so far I found this group, currently 8 people involved:

Like CK said, you can build your own group too, that's probably best. Once it is built, it's done and posting your shots is easy for all to see and bask in and enjoy

So DaBurglar if someone (i.e. Lucky Larry, Vman, me, etc.) posts pictures in the link you provided, do those pictures also automatically post here? Maybe I need to take a few classes?
