Glad Johnson choked. The man is entirely too blessed. The life equivalent of over royaled! Brooks an amazing human interest story given the injury. But he's obviously been touched by a higher power too!

Personally, I was glad to see Reed come up short. I would've been SICK to see him be half to a glad-slam

As soon as all the whining and crying started about "how tough the course is" I got a bit turned off by this event. The USGA doesn't owe any apologies for how the course played and EVERY player in this event had the same opportunities as all the others to get on top of the leader board. What's next: baseball players whining and crying because the pitcher is throwing the ball too fast?

Sigh of relief when Tommy Fleetwood didn't win. Not that I dislike him, just the opposite, but I was thinking of heading to Monmouth Park on Thursday morning and putting $ 100 on him to win the Open at 40 to 1. Never got there to place the bet.Lost $ 400 at the Borgata on Friday afternoon instead. Oh well.

He would have lost two strokes anyway. Might as well save the hassle and massage the system. Poor sportsmanship. Wonder if PGA revisits this rule?
