Re: hot /cold machines
we all would like to keep the posts to vp or going to las vegas reno or othe venue sharing ideas about restrauants entertainment comps values or getting around or trip reports this is constructive not folks using this site to sell other products or services. most of us keep it to that and get upset at those who dont

I will just now post my results:
Date P/L
6/10/10 +685.25
6/11/10 -200.00
6/13/10 -53.25
6/14/10 -200.00
each session is no more than 2.0 hours, game is 7/5 or 6/5 bonus
poker, indian casino. max dollar risk per session is 200 dollars, 2
hour max session. max downside risk for playing every day of month is
$6200 per month. Max upside is $18000. I follow profit and loss
algorithms in place each session that i attempt to follow 100% of the
time, and I fail about 10% of the time to really nail those exits. It
is still, as in trading, extremely hard to close sessions at a loss and
at the proper amount and time, but I am improving each year.
I am not playing daily this month and also playing with slightly lower
paytables for a FH than where I normally play, but that shouldn't skew
the results too much. Plus its father's day coming up...likely june
will be a low betting month.
If all goes well I will be back in Las vegas in a few days, clearing up things here.
cheers.

I see RD is still trying to ignore the point about tic-tac-toe. He claims that math can't work. Yet, he continues to avoid discussing a simpler game that uses EXACTLY the same mathematical principles. I'm pretty sure everyone realizes by now that he does this for the obvious reason. He know that we all know that tic-tac-toe always ends up in a tie if you use those simple mathematical principles.
Sorry, RD, all your silly words mean nothing until you prove you can win at tic-tac-toe against the math. I'm still waiting ....

Rolanddude ... It is my prediction that you will stay vague, misdirect the conversation to other minor points in this discourse, and overall still claim that you have answered these questions to anyone's reasonable satisfaction.
Shadowman...
I'm still waiting for you to prove you can beat tic-tac-toe ... still waiting. tick tock, tick tock. Come one, RD show us the way. Show us a short term strategy that wins at tic-tac-toe.
As predicted... duck, dodge, misdirect... you should be an Obama Strategist. In case I have missed something, I don't remember telling the forum that I have been beating "tic-tac-toe". You however have boasted that you have won each of the last eight years. If you insist though, here is my strategy (this is all a farce of course, I will play along) I would approach the game differently from those who are "boxed-in" to a way of thinking and playing. Instead of playing the typical back and forth x's and o's, I would only agree to play if I always go first and we both get to mark 2 squares each turn. I would NEVER lose with my system. (always mark the top corners first) This way the game would last a shorter amount of time and the result would be that I always win. Something that you would never attain one mark at a time. (you would have to wait on the long term probability that someone will eventually make a mistake using conventional rules and you could take advantage of this and win once in a great while) you wouldn't mind this though since you are used to waiting on that "once in a great while" hit to attain any sense of being close to a positive cash situation in VP...
This is my Short Term Strategy for DICK-Tac-Toe. Laid out in simple easy to understand terms. If you don't like the rules...Don't play me. It still doesn't change the fact that I will win everytime I play this game with my rules.
And the fact that Dick is ducking and dodging the obvious...calling my words silly... Just as I said he WILL do... so predictable.
BTW, did you get the Twin's tickets today from Treasure Island in Wisconsin... I mean Welch, MN?

So you win at vp by changing the pay tables and playing 2 hands instead of one for every credit you put in? Must be nice.

Eduardo,
Get your head out of your butt. The Dick Tac Toe game has nothing to do with video poker or any strategy...
It is just another diversion/misdirection tactic to get Dick's small army (you included) to lead the post off on a different course than the matter at hand.
Tell us your strategy with One Eyed Jacks Dick... Bankroll, session stop/loss limit, rhythm patterns to hit buttons (whether you change your rhythm if you are losing), what you do after a distraction throws your timing off, ... C'mon share with us some useful info... We would all LOVE to win like you do...

answer this: why over the past few years have casinos downgraded paytables on the various vp games (hint because they play for the long run and they know that math always prevails). unfortunitly for us all vp has few opportunities as fpdw at 25c level playing 2 machines perfect play at palms with comps will average about $20.00 per hour with no benifits. the times it gets better when casinos run a promotion which astute players can exploit

Wonderful projection. Yes, you are trying to avoid the question about tic-tac-toe. Everyone can see right through you. You don't want to talk about it because it's so easy to see that I can describe a strategy where I never lose. You can't refute the math because it's soooooooo simple.
That creates a big problem for you since VP is just a little more complex but uses exactly the same math. Therefore, if you can't beat me at tic-tac-toe, you have to admit that the VP math is also valid.
Your entire claims (and credibility) goes down the drain.
Add to that Treasure Island is not in Wisconsin so you're not looking to smart there either. Not to mention that the casino owns a private suite for viewing Twins games, so it's even better than you imagined.
Of course you would never lose with your revised tic-tac-toe game, and once again that is easily verifiable with simple math. Nice of you to demonstrate once again that math can be used to evaluate simple games like tic-tac-toe, RD modified tic-tac-toe and VP.
Now, Robbie, please let RD post next time. Your projections, words and phrases are so obviously you a cave man could figure it out.
