Just a little bit of history, Albert King one of the most famous blues guitarists of all time sang……If it wasn’t for bad luck, you know I wouldn’t have no luck at all……

Had a very nice quiet Thanksgiving at home with family. As usual, the Mrs made a great Turkey dinner with yummy trimmings. We paced ourselves as we knew later Thursday evening, we would head up to Bizarro for R and R for her. The lounge also had a nice Thanksgiving spread so good thing we didn’t have seconds at home.
The Vp machines started out ice cold for both of us, but we both managed late 8th and 9th inning rallies. I ended up even playing multi, strike, joker kings, alternating between nickel and quarter play. The Mrs. played her usual double double bonus, ultimate X nickel game, triple play and had a nice double and triple in the eighth and ninth innings. pictures attached. I didn’t take any pictures of mine. I had a few nice hits, but nothing overly impressive like hers. I think she was plus’s 100 or better great considering our bankrolls were almost toast until well well after midnight. Good thing we had an extra late checkout. 😬 As usual CBK thanks for the 4 leaf clovers. Now I know where you get your Vp handle from. 😊

A little more history. Excellent with Espresso. These are made in Italy. I never knew that ammonia bicarbonate was used in cooking in Italy before Baking powder. However, if you have a moist batter, it traps the ammonia and you could get an unpleasant taste. Don’t ask me why I read and memorize such things. I guess that is why I constantly do math in my head while I’m playing VP. Don’t worry, the Mrs made Pumpkin Pie Squares for yesterday including the shortbread crust. Mmmmmmm…….

So airy. I’d finish at least half upon opening. Time to buy a Wendy’s frosty fob again. It actually increased to $3. Inflation really has reached everything! It seems that the design has been expanded from a plain fob to a chain.

I tried to have one, but had 3 with my Espresso. I had to look up the Wendy’s promotion. I wasn’t aware of it. We have a Wendy’s nearby, but I rarely go there since it is part of a Truck stop and has been robbed many times. They have an armed local cop there at all times now 24/7. Sometimes 2. I do like the Wendy’s Chili. Their Jr cheeseburgers aren’t even on the menu anymore, but you can ask for them. With my senior discount, they are only like 1.25.
As to VP, a solo trip is planned for later tonight. Since nickel and quarter Joker Kings Multi Strike so far hasn’t busted the budget, that’s the plan so far. 98.44 return. Not bad. Haven’t connected yet with a Royal, but did connect with 5 of a kind on line 3 which pays 4 times the line one amount. That makes the payout 4,000 nickels for bet 5 so it is almost the same as hitting a Royal. When you bet 5 nickels, a line, it still costs a buck, but that’s manageable.

At least the Wendy’s has security nowadays. I pay $2 for junior cheeseburger! Trying to hit that RF by 12.31!

Batting average down to 129. Bad even for a pitcher. Almost busted on Sunday overnight and Monday afternoon play. When absolutely nothing hits, not much you can do except quit.

True though I have had awful nights and just when all seemed lost, I have gotten a hail Mary hand. The exception to the rule. Hope things turn around on your next foray to MS OLds.

Thanks. Unfortunately, more of the same on Wednesday evening. The best I can say is I had some great food on the house, room with a nice view ( pic attached ) and some good conversation with friends. Thursday morning before the market opened, I did some research from my room and found a promising stock to buy paying a whopping 14 percent dividend. I bought 200 shares ( mortgage company ) with a 30 year track record. The dividends over the course of a year from now will pay for the 336 bucks I lost playing Wednesday evening. 😊. I have to add that I realize business is business, but the ads are now appearing within postings on the threads themselves. That’s all I will say about it. I realize it’s tough out there.
