Re: My Journey on Video Poker

*I am planning more video poker vids in the future, but wanted to address a few things and possible misunderstandings that came up while doing these new video poker videos...
1. First, Thank you to the new subscribers, and to the ones that have stayed with me for quite awhile. I have never left video poker, but have not put it up as a vlog for awhile.
2. I think some people were confused on my channel thinking it was something akin to "Brian Christopher" or "slotlady" or "TheBigJackpot" slot streaming type channel. It is not. Superdan is a video log and diary of my life and various interests. Video poker is a small part of it. So do not expect to see a channel akin to full-time you tube slot like channels. One will see "action", however, the channel is both a cerebral and intellectual exercise that rises above the base level of "action." There is action, but obviously to those familiar with the channel, it is subservient to the thoughts and ideas behind it!
2. Everyone likes to win, nobody likes to lose, and all players experience both. Posting just the wins is, in my opinion, doing people a disservice and an incomplete and false presentation (e.g., just posting the "big hits"). Same otherwise. We all know this game, like any gambling game, has swings of L's and W's, and that's the reality. Fortunately, video poker players enjoy a healthy Expected Return compared to other casino games...sometimes even positive, but obviously, it is a variant game and sometimes it takes awhile for the RNG's to be favorable....sometimes not.
3. Sometimes I may post a vp video almost every day like posting from Part 1 to Episode 6...sometimes it may be weeks... or months before I post another one. Like I said, vp logs are not all encompassing to me, I don't have a need to play every day, and it's not the most important thing in my life, just one of the things in my life.
4. If you like what you see, subscribe and stay tuned. If you don't, then the great thing is you don't have to watch, plenty of other channels to choose from in you tube land. Some people felt like I talked too much and not enough action. That's their right and I understand where they are coming from IF they come from aforementioned #2, expecting a more slot channel type experience. Superdan isn't that.
5. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if someone wants that type of experience on you tube land, do it yourself! One of the reasons I started doing you tube videos is because I was so unhappy with the quality of video poker material coming out of it. I felt I could do better and put out better information with a more entertaining and quality production. I think I have done that in some ways, not in other ways. That's life. I do what I can do.
I can say this, there is a market for it, a full-time slot channel type video poker player, and I would support as best I can someone that decides to do it. It isn't me. I have a full time job already, and video poker is a part time hobby for me and I'd like to keep it that way for the foreseeable future.
I hope I gave some clarification, but i'm always willing to respond to questions and do what I can.
Cheers!

Episode 7: a session of .25c single line ace$ bonus poker 8/5 is uploaded. It's a quicky video, and it seems as of late the VP gods have turned their back on Superdan. Do they show mercy this time? You'll have to tune in to see.
Cheers,

Episode 8: nsud deuces single line quarter play is uploaded. I'll reveal one piece of the curtain, didn't go well. The video log run has not been kind. 6 bust outs in a row now...up a g, to down a g, 2g swing...for Superdan, that's a lot in a row. Only happened a few times during my video poker run the last few years. So the casino runs will have to take a back seat and I'll be doing some vids in the near future playing on this site...at least, until I replenish my bankroll and take some time off, get my breath back, and cool down some.
Downswing came at an unfortunate time as I see alot of renewed interest in my channel that I haven't seen when Superdan first put the video poker videos out many moons ago. My new subscriber rates have really shot up. But...the bankroll needs to be refilled again and it's going to take some time.
The advantages of playing on this site are it's much easier to film at home, and don't have security on my back or nearby nervous players asking them why I am filming. Also I can show all the hands, so action is higher. The disadvantage is not capturing the casino experience, not showing the real $, just the pseduo $. So six of one, half dozen of another, vp is as vp does. Thanks.
Cheers,
~Superdan

Come on FAA, your going to do me like that? lol. Look, live-streams are it’s own thing and I don’t know how familiar you are with it. It has advantages and disadvantages like anything else in life...
Let me say this...it promotes video poker, it promotes the site, promotes my channel, and promotes a good time where nobody gets hurt. What’s wrong with that my friend?
So three suggestions...don’t watch it if it bores you, try not to give unconstructive criticism, and take more caffeine pills so you can draw awake! Let’s move on like donkey kong,
