A couple of years ago I agreed to let JoeRob see my income tax return ... he backed out. I was going to immediately place the return in an envelop addressed to the IRS and put it in a mailbox where it could not be retrieved. Still, JoeRob backed out. He really doesn't want to know what I've made playing VP. It's all a smokescreen.

What if I said I'm approximately $34K ahead this year which is way above expectation and I've average less than 10 hours a week (180 hours in 23 weeks). What if I said last year I only won about $5000 which was below expectation and it was a bad year. What if I said that does not include meals, rooms, tickets to games, gifts, free golf or any other non-cash extras. Would JoeRob believe me?
Nope, the next statement out of his mouth would be "prove it". So, there's no reason for me to make any claim as it would be meaningless to the discussion.

Shadowman, I'm a little confused here.  Since it's fairly easy to figure out the best play on every hand of video poker, why would someone think that they could do better by sometimes on purpose not making the best play?  I mean, I don't always know the best play and I'm sure I make mistakes sometime, but with most games video poker software is available to help you.  If you had 100 hands to play why in the world would you want to make the 2nd, 3rd, or worse play on some of those hands when the best play is available for you?  Don't these people know that your winnings on 100 hands is equal to the total of the wins on each hand?  And if you pick the best cards to hold on each hand, the "expected value" of each hand will be the greatest that you can hope for, so the "expected value" for 100 hands will also be the greatest that you can hope for?

Same thing for 1000 hands and 10,000 hands.  That is not a real hard concept, is it?  I see where you could win more sessions by making occasional substandard plays, but the total "expected value" would have to go down when choosing such plays if that was your goal.

But what confuses me most is your statement above that I put in the box.  I suppose that I could have missed that message in skimming through the rubble, but in my reading through a lot of messages here and I didn't see where rolanddude ever established any credibility in the first place.  So, it couldn't really go down the drain, could it?

I tried to share with the room literally the next thing out of my mouth via a video post...
Webman, however, seemed to want to join the ranks of the "Supressors of Speech" (much like they do in facist countries) and actually disabled my message and had it linked to a Rick Astley video on You Tube...  nice to have a dictator heading up things around here!!

The video lasted about a minute.  And WAS me saying these things and not the ever loathed RS.  Either way,  that was the next thing out of my mouth in response to Shadowman's post.  He either can't or won't share his info... TOO BAD!!!
 
Webman, I know Rick Astley and I wonder if he knows that you are using his material to suppress my speech.  Did you pay any royalty to him for linking my messages to that?  I don't know what's more telling on you... the fact that you have censored me from talking or the fact that you seem a little hypocritical yourself by linking to an outside source without them paying for advertising like you are requiring from me...???

you use your videos to sell your music and or the subscription service. Webman is just trying to keep this site without folks selling products or services. we pay for gold accounts to avoid advertising so repect Webman keep it clean, free of advertising and share your ideas in a constructive forum
